Our name Impendulo means “the answer” and we believe that Jesus is the only answer to everything that we need in this life.

Impendulo Community Project, based in the mouth of Zululand in the village of Wangu, 100km north of Durban, started in January 2006 as a group of people coming together to study the bible. We are now a registered NGO consisting of about 20 committed adult members and over 100 children. Our main focus is to share the love of God in the community, through discipleship, providing love and support for orphaned and vulnerable children, creating opportunities for them, and alleviating poverty and suffering as much as possible. We also focus on bridging cultures and peoples around the world by hosting groups and outreaches, as well as sending out groups for ministry and cultural performances.
